ARIADNI THEME – NAXOS, SOUTH AEGEAN
Naxos is the biggest island of Cyclades in the Aegean Sea. It is located right in the center of the Aegean Sea of the eastern Cyclades having the north of Myconos, the east of Donousa, the south of Amorgos, the south of Ios and the west of Paros. The day Naxos was created it was obviously richly endowed. It was gifted with sun, sea and sand. A diversified landscape consisting of fertile planes, impressive mountains, green valleys and an abundance of drinking water are scarce at many tourist resorts today. Naxos, on the contrary, has it all. The friendly and hospitable islanders are also a great attraction. The natural resources are unique, the seawater is crystal clear, beaches got EU’s blue flag, and the mountainous areas are an attraction not only for summer but also for winter visitors. Naxos has an oval shape and geophysical distinguished in the mountainous Naxos (east and north) and lowland Naxos (west and south). Until today, Naxos was administratively divided into two main municipalities: the municipality of the city of Naxos (Chora) and the municipality of Drimalia (Halkio or Tragea). The most famous beaches and resorts are located in the southwest side of the island within walking distance from Chora of Naxos. In these areas the traveler can enjoy a swim in the crystal clear waters and relax on sandy beaches. In most of them there are restaurants, shops and accommodations and the potential for water sports.
The area of Agiasas, where the presented development is located, belongs to the most popular and prominent areas of the island in terms of tourist development. It is located 20 km from Chora and offers unique living experience. The area of development is well known since the ancient years and it is mentioned in the Greek mythology. The property is located 1200m from the beach on the sides of a hill at an elevation of 150 – 200m providing excellent and open views to the Aegean Sea. It consists of 2 plots with an area of 79.333,97 sq.m. and 71.484,86 sq.m. The plots are contiguous to each other and have little distance between them. It is sloping oriented southwest to the sea.
